Part 1: Four tips to extend the life of your soap.

understand that shopping from us is a financial commitment. You can get a usable (but not as good) bar at any box store. I appreciate your support which is why I want to share these tips to help your soap last longer.

Tip 1: Keep soap dry between uses.
Handcrafted soap is more moisturizing because of the natural glycerine that forms in the soapmaking process. That glycerine is also what makes your soap get mushy if it sits in standing water. Make sure you store your soap on a dish that keeps the bar up out of water or has lots of slots for drainage. This also goes for your shampoo bars. The drier a bar is between uses the longer it will last. We sell a 3D printed soap dish that we designed to help keep your soap out of standing water and allows air to the bottom of the bar which helps it dry faster. And it's only $4!

Tip 2: Use a washcloth or loofa
I admit I don't use this one but I also have two dozen bars of soap sitting in my bathroom cupboard. However, for normal people, rubbing your soap on a loofa or washcloth will create a thicker lather you can use to wash up. You're creating more bubbles by using less soap. Our Soap Bags are the perfect combination of steps 1 and 2.

Since this email is getting lengthy, I'll share the reasons for step 3 and 4 in next week's email.
